📡

Modbus TCP & RTU

Connect to PLCs, energy meters, VFDs, and sensors via Modbus TCP (Ethernet) or Modbus RTU (RS-485/RS-232). Poll intervals from 100ms.

🖥️

Configurable HMI Dashboards

Drag-and-drop gauges, number displays, trend charts, status indicators onto a canvas. Build your plant view without coding.

📈

Real-Time Trend Charts

Watch multiple tags trend live. Zoom into any time window, compare tags, and export data to CSV.

🔔

Alarm Management

Set threshold alarms on any tag — high, low, or equals. Alarms log with timestamps and trigger email notifications via SMTP.

🗄️

Built-in Historian

All tag readings are stored in a local SQLite database. No cloud upload, no data leaving your plant. Trend back to any point in history.

🔒

Fully Offline

Core functionality — Modbus polling, dashboards, alarms, historian — requires zero internet. Works in air-gapped networks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does SCADA Desktop require an internet connection?

No. Core functionality — Modbus polling, dashboards, alarms, and the historian — works entirely offline. The only optional internet use is sending alarm emails via SMTP, which you configure with your own SMTP server.

What Modbus protocols does it support?

SCADA Desktop supports Modbus TCP (Ethernet, default port 502) and Modbus RTU over RS-485 or RS-232 serial. All four function codes — FC01 (coils), FC02 (discrete inputs), FC03 (holding registers), FC04 (input registers) — are supported.

How is data stored? Is it sent to the cloud?

All tag data is stored in a local SQLite database on your Windows machine. Nothing is sent to any cloud service or external server. You control your data completely.

What happens after the 15-day trial?

After 15 days the application prompts you to enter a license key. You can purchase a license from the in-app store. Existing data and configuration are retained — nothing is deleted.

Can I run SCADA Desktop and SCADA Cloud together?

Yes. Some teams use SCADA Desktop for local plant-floor HMI and SCADA Cloud for remote management and multi-site dashboards. They are independent products and do not share data.
